My parents are in France at the moment and said it snowed a couple of days ago, they were most surprised.

When I flew home from my stag do in Mijas Costa, most of central spain was covered in snow. Was bloody cold though.

My parents are a little north of the snow, but apparently it's freezing even in central France. It was almost summery just a few days ago! My dad has spent the day chopping firewood from the local vineyard, which saved them paying to dispose of it and has provided about 3 cubic meters of winter fuel for my parents. I am currently stuck in a shipyard in Trieste watching the snow fall and hoping I can make it back to the hotel tonight.
It's been freezing for the last few days but yesterday and today the wind has really picked up. The yard sent all their people home this morning as the wind was so bad and now we have snow added to the mix.
I'm due to fly home tomorrow and can't wait. I normally enjoy Italy but this time it's just been rotten.
