I used to have one. I used it once and then it sat there for about 6 months not doing anything.
Then I went to use it again and found it had dried up and didn't work.
Not had one since.

I've got an HP D7160 that uses seperate inksm (BCMY) and the extra light magenta and light cyan. Its not a bad printer considering it was under £100. It has a a colour LCD screen for menus and pictbridge printing, memory card slots (can be used as a reader for the PC or to directly print from) and uses those value packs - all 6 inks plus 150 sheets of 6x4 for as little as £25 if you shop around.
The gripes I have is it prints a little dark sometimes (I tend to have to over brighten my pictures before printing but I'm sure this is down to the software/driver and its NEED to apply 'photo fix') and sometimes the extra glossy stuff doesnt pick up on the rollers and has to be encouraged. Black and white photos look a bit washed out too.
I really want to upgrade to something better quality and better black and white performance. Maybe an A3 printer from Epson or Canon.

The last printer I had was a HP Deskjet 930C which just sat there gathering dust. So I got rind of it.

I think my current printer is a HP Photosmart 7850, but I'm at work so am not sure... It hasn't been used for a while and needs new cartridges, so I might just bin it and get a new printer or, given that I rarely print anything at home these days I might just bin it.

Any cheap Lexmark printer (if they still make them). I had one before my laser and it was terrible.

Oh, I've seen enough of other people's Lexmarks in my time I've noticed a lot of people have HPs, which is probably where I'm heading if I do decide to get a new one - like a few people here I just don't print that often, and I could probably use the shelf space better...

Epson Stylus Photo 900, purely because at the time it was one of the few printers that printed directly onto CDs.

Espon Aculaser C2000.
Total overkill for my needs (it's more a workgroup colour laser) but yet not good enough for the photographic output I'd like to put though it.
It's also for sale.

There's plenty of games support. Just not many games.

Samsung ML-2240.It was cheap, it does what I need. Except for working straight off in Debian, last time I tried. ¬_¬ Must give it another bash since it's currently gathering dust.

Epson Stylus Photo 1290.
Wanted an A3 printer and have used the A3 capabilities maybe twice in the last few years. It takes up quite a bit of desk space and the cartridges are very expensive too. No real complaints about the quality but it seems to be on its last legs and I will just get an A4 printer next time.

Epson DX8400
Fairly cheap for ink, the card reader is useful as is the scanner
