if your just reformatting a drive, and not trying to cover up any incriminating data, you can just do a quick format, takes about 2 seconds cos it just rewrites the disk header, full formats rewrite every single sector on the disk

No, come back. It's not that at all, I just think we should keep this between me and you for a while, you know, our little secret. I'm not ashamed of you, it's just; I haven't even gotten used to the idea myself yet, and I'm just not sure I'm ready for everyone else to know. There's going to be a lot of questions from people, both our families, and I'm not sure we're ready to answer those yet.
