Hopefully one step closer to the BNP being declared illegal.

I would like to congratulate the BBC for using that picture of NIck Griffin. It never fails to be funny and repulsive at the same time.

And so on.

Never, never ask Uncle Knobhead to the wedding. He’ll probably turn up anyway.

Whilst I do not agree with the BNP I can't say I agree with the campaign against them either. Nick Griffin has the write to stand in the street and say anything he wants, as does an extremist Muslim, Fathers for justice, Greenpeace (now don't get me started on them). As such the BNP have every right to only admit members that meet their "criteria," as do feminist groups, black police officers associated etc.

I thought we lived in a democracy? Wouldn't that mean allowing people to be undemocratic?

On a side note, that really is a funny picture it looks like hes about to vomit.

Freedom of speech is important. Though the groups you mentioned have different issues. Muslim extremists are also aiming for the overthrow of our way of life. Fathers for Justice are a campaign group who would disappear if the law treated fathers better. Greenpeace are an environmental group who if politicians did the right thing would also disappear. The BNP are entitled to free speech like any one else. A campaign against them is no different to that against the Tories or Labour.

I doubt GP would disappear as quickly as you think, they're far too rabid for that IMO.

There are a few extremists in every organisation, even the Tory Party. Oops bad example, they are mainly extremist pretending to be a mainstream party.

Though if whaling was banned everywhere and we actually took much better care of our planet then Greenpeace would disappear as a mainstream organisation.

If the mainstream politicians bring in tough green laws where will the support be for Greenpeace? They may be a few who will always push for the impossible. Though that will not cut it with the average supporter.
