Hi all

After a little guidance as to what might be causing some issues I'm having while watching BBC iPlayer.

Basically if I watch something on iPlayer (and sometimes youtube too!) the picture gets really blocky (pixalating?) and it's a mare to view. It was really noticeable while watching F1 qualifying on iPlayer, especially when something fast moving is on the screen i.e. a bloody car.

My connection is fine, my lappy is fine, but when I watched F1 last season with an AOL 2mb connection everything was hunky-dory, now I'm with BT and I have an 8MB contract with constant 5MB speed. It never has to buffer while I'm watching, so I know the speed is fine, but what could cause this to happen? I might add I don't watch iPlayer that often except during the F1 season if I miss some action, so it's hard to say when this has happened. All I know is it was OK last year, and it's lousy now. Browser is Firefox, if that helps?

Thanks. :)

Nice one! Thanks Finlay, just updated Flashplayer to 10 and it seems to have cured it. Certainly much better than it was yesterday.

Thanks. :D
