I managed to get 16 out of 40 which I don't think is too bad considering I was born in 82 and spent most of it living in Saudi Arabia.

20/40 - I have the advantage of living through the whole decade :). I can recognise a few more but can't quite remember the correct title. Although I'd dispute whether a couple of the ones I got came out in the 80s...

Although i stupidly missed a few, namely the Queen and the Bon Jovi songs... recognised the style, just not the song (not in the 10 minutes anyways lol).

That was very annoying!!

I only got 11 honestly, although I recognised most of them. I would have gotten another 15 or 20 if it hadn't been for spelling issues.

Most annoying was "ninety-nine red balloons" / "neun und neunzig Luftballons" which I tried about ten variations on in both German and English.

Second most annoying was "Take on me", which I think I put as "take me on". Whatever I put, I totally knew it and totally failed to get it :(

Most embarrassing is that I got Rick Astley, despite the long title.

Yes I did, but I think I maybe spelled it "baloons" or something.

My spelling is very bad, especially if I'm in a hurray.

I'm sure there's some anti-discrimination law against these kind of sites that prejudice against dixplexics

22 after one play through without cheating

"Wake me up before you go-go" yet it wouldnt accept "wake me up before you go go"

got most of the obvious ones, prince and the rap ones... shame there was no punk/ska stuff, would have got that too ;)

Funnily enough only reason I got the duran duran one was because me and my gf had an argument on holiday about who sang it lol

I think I put gogo as one word. I'm not sure, but it definitely accepted whatever I put in. I think it might have filled it in before I finished typing. CBA to try again lol.

I have to say, I would not want to code one of these. Making it fair is not an easy task, unless you only accept the exact title and that's really not fun.

17, I can't believe I missed some of them, having seen the answers!

Who else tried typing "U Can't Touch This"?

in the end i had to cheat for that

it really should pick up the majority of the title as I have seen them where they have had allowances for different titles, and pedantry ftl, just needs a thing to say 90% right? well give you it

I got all the way to the end and the ones I didn't get I mostly would never have known in a million years.

A couple there annoyed me because it turns out that they are among my favourite songs but either the clips or my recollection is not quite right. Also two of them I knew, but got the title just wrong enough to miss out.

Nine of those I would not have got, but of all the ones I did get, there was only one where I didn't know the artist.

Only got 12 there although I recognised a lot of them.
Still, remembering song names and/or artists has never been my strong point. That's what my little brother is for
