Well, the BBC seems to have dispensed with Nigella. This year, it’s Sophie Dahl getting to grips with the pan handles (ooerr). Starts Tuesday, BBC 2, next week.

I've been thinking about starting a thread where I can post my favourite chefs, and now I don't have to. Thanks! Ching-He Huang: http://www.youtube.com/user/chinghehuangYummy

From MILF to GILF? Best thing about her, she isn't afraid to use a knife Crocodile Dundee would be proud of!

Just when I was running out of programs to say "what a waste of my licence fee" about, the Beeb manages to pull one out of the bag by having some vacuous bint who cooks as well as anyone else tell us all how great it is to live and cook in north London. I can't wait to not watch the whole series

But she has no taste. She married Jamie Cullem.

I don't mind whether a cook is male or female, fine or foul provided they make good food. The previews of that Sophie Dahl show suggest it will be good food that normal people might like and be able to cook - a bit like Lawson yes but maybe with less end sequences of intimate dinner parties with her lovvie friends, which is a shot that always made me want to put a boot through the telly. Having said that, *sigh* given the thread title, you should probably include Rachel Allen and Merrilees Parker Tomassina Miers is attractive too but she's not very well known yet I don't think. And Ching does have something about her for sure.

She's gonna have to go some to make food seem filthier than Nigella can. But either way, I won't be watching. Kitchen totty's only any good if you're in the kitchen with it.

+1 The thing with Nigella is that she was always out to kill us - everything seemed to have double cream in it, so if your blood pressure wasn’t up watching her accidentally dribble some creamy confection out of the side of her mouth on one of her late night fridge raids, it will rise to dangerous levels after eating a few of her recipes!
