Yikes!! Red and I went to our local Morrisons (other supermercados are available) this morning to pick up some nibbles etc for JJs arrival this afternoon. We also wanted to get a couple of bottles of wine, so we stopped at one of those pallet stacks at the end of an aisle and Red picked up one of the bottles of Kumala (£8.95) to read the back.... As he picked it up, the other 6 bottles in that tray disappeared gracefully and surprisingly quietly over the back of the stack My heart stopped, I was sure it was going to lead to a huge smash and wine everywhere, but there was actually just a quiet *flump* as all 6 vanished down between the pallets Red carried on as though nothing had happened, read the back of the bottle (quickly) and then put it in the basket and wandered off whistling innocently. I was completely horrified but my first instinct was to have a look at the glass carnage before running away!! I peeped over the back of the stack (up to about waist-height on me) and all 6 bottles had smashed, one into tiny pieces and one had it's neck broken, but all were pumping wine onto the floor in the gap between the front and back pallets. I got around the corner into the next aisle to catch-up with Red and then collapsed against one of the racks in total hysteria. I was laughing and crying at the same time, grabbed by such convulsions that I couldn't walk. We finished our shopping, both breaking into manic giggles every few minutes then headed for the checkouts, paid up and got out of there. I think we'll both be laughing about that for the rest of the day. Thing is, how stupid would you have to be as a Morrisons wine stacky person to put a cardboard tray of 12 bottles of wine on top of a stack with only the first 6 bottles actually resting on the bottles below?? Should we feel worse than we do about the whole thing??

Morning all.
New glasses successfully collected and what a difference. The coating had rubbed of one of the lenses on the old ones so it was like looking through slightly frosted glass. I'm frankly amazed my prescription hadn't really changed by much (+/- 1 degree in the astigmatism correction). Got to go back today though as the cases they gave me don't actually seem to fit the glasses without putting rather a lot of pressure on the glasses. I don't really want to have my shiny new glasses break apart after a couple of months due tot he cases.
Aside from that I have lots of fun house work to do as I'm getting a landlord inspection on Friday this week. Joy! Thing is, I spend all this time tidying up, hoovering and cleaning and the woman from the letting agent is here all of five minutes, if that. Still, I guess that's a good thing really.
Sunny and bright in Peebo so far this morning, much nicer than it was yesterday.
Have a good day folks.

Morning everyone,
Monday again, I'm at work with a long week of Design Reviews ahead of me. I have quite a list of things that need to get done around the Design Reviews and a handover to do with one of my team this morning as I'm taking on her VP as well as my own while she's dealing with our bi-annual conference organisation.
Looks like a cup of tea may be in order!!

Morning all, Really busy this morning, mainly due to the offshore Helpdesk being totally useless. When a home based user rings up to say that she cannot get on the Internet and cannot access her emails or network drives and there are NO lights on the ADSL router what's the first thing you'd ask? That's right, you wouldn't ask anything! You'd try and remotely connect to her computer and then pass the call to some mug in Manchester... There were two other calls this morning, but even thinking about them is making me lose the will to live... let's just say they took 30 minutes to fix, and 25 of those minutes was spent talking to the users about the weekend. Oh well, back to it I suppose. Have a great day everyone.
