What are the chances you'll even remember making a sandwich before you went out?

Sandwich?

No no no, this is what the emergency pizza is for. Or if you really are too drunk, Dominos. ;)

Just keep some marshmallows handy in case your pad does go up.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I've seen a few people come in because of this. Part of the issue is that current laws mean people who drink on say Saturday night then have nowhere to eat so they make food at home. This is one reason why I am all for 24-hr open time but takeaways etc should be open until 4-5am Sunday morning to help alleviate this problem.

When I still lived with my parent I used to make huge monster sandwiches when I came in drunk. I'd just raid their (well stocked) fridge and stack it up.
Now I just buy kebabs.

That is why you need an iPhone! :D

I have the same problem, so am not allowed to cook, because I forget that I have started cooking something. I have found food in the microwave when I started preparing something else. Only yesterday I started getting a pizza ready when I thought that I felt hungry after the jacket potato did not fill me up. I found the potato in the microwave as I was putting the pizza in. So amnesia is the same safety risk as a skinful of alcohol.

Maybe not, as although you can't remember putting anything in the oven would certainly have your senses around you much more than some drunken dolt would have should things go awry.

Anyway forgetting to eat must be a great method for weight loss?

I will grant you that. I will be much better if there is a problem because i will be sober. Though I could be asleep. That happens through out the day.

Actually unless you have a reminder that you have eaten you can eat again. I used dirty plates to count how many meals that I have eaten, but that does not always work if I use the same plate all day. I have tried a computerised check list which is quite good as long as I remember to use it. I have it auto starting each time I turn the machine on.

The ambulance drivers suggestion of a take-away was probably the best one. Though ready meals in the fridge might be a cheaper option. Pre-pierced and with the microwave set with the correct time so you just have to shut the door will minimise the odds of things going wrong.

It is a problem with medication? or lack of sleep? Teddy was like that for a bit :s

No it is nothing to do with medication. Ever since my accident I have had no sleeping patterns. I can sleep as many as ten times a day or sleep for four days. It does have benefits in that I do not get jet lag and can switch my routines to staying up all night to up all day very rapidly.
