I had to look that up. It has it's own Wiki entry, which made the process painless.

I'll be getting a cab, if I can ever get through to on the phone. I've tried two local ones so far without any joy! I'm hoping it's less than £10 each way because I only have £20 in my pocket. I may simply walk home, just so long as I can actually get there on time

Just got through. Exactly £10 each way

Turn it off and take the battery out, pour a pint of water over the same place the juice went in and sit it on it's side with the optical drive facing down, leave for a week or more...
One of my lecturers spilt a pint of beer over his, that worked for him, disk drive is partially buggered though...

jonbwfc I was behind her in a queue today - but I wouldn't describe it as 'bushy'.

Just a quick question about illegal trading, if I may.

A company within the Liverpool area have been trading illegally and I wish to bring it to the attention of Trading Standards. When I went on Liverpool City Council's website, they would not allow complaints if you were not a resident of the city and advised me to contact my local council.

It seems a bit strange when the trader is in Liverpool, so how do I do it please?

Thanks,

Peter.

You report it to your local council and they transfer the complaint. It takes at least 6 weeks for the transfer, because they use some kind of weird snail-mail which goes around the world 6 times. At least, that's the only reason I can think of why it's so damned slow.

I reported a problem in October last year. It finally went to court last week. I expect 9000 civil servants had my form on their desk at some time in-between.

I'm becoming more and more bored of the internet, when it's quiet here, I seem to find myself aimlessly clicking around for something to take my attention for more than 5 minutes.

I'm not sure I've got the creativity to write an update for the Forum Story today.

I can't access Youtube at work and I've read all of FML and most of these forums.

*Sigh*
