Morning. Dog tired last night. Slept like a log, but awoke in the night with incredibly sore eyes. They seem to dry out while I'm asleep.  I've been offered another jobette, which means I can give the drudge factory the heave-ho. I hope I can leave there on a good note, so if they ask me back - and I need the money - I can return without problems. Morning all, Congratulations on the jobette Heather, hope it is fantastic!  In other news, I seem to have caught the bug that the kids have all had, so no work for me today...  Let's just hope I recover sufficiently to go to Uni' tonight. Oh well, coffee then back to bed I think. Not the best of weeks so far but I've been told by SWMBO at her morning nagging session that I'm off work next week looking after the kids on Easter break  Best I get the time off booked then Congrats on the jobette Heather and here's wishing everybody that's feeling as sh1t as I am a sppedy and uneventful recovery. Al

The joys of rented accomodation - landlord inspection tomorrow while I'm at work.
So, that'll be me doing some tidying up this evening.

Morning folks.
TFI Friday. I'm off out for a curry after work for a friends birthday so that should be good. Plus it puts of finding out what judgement the letting agent has made about the state of my house (I really hate quarterly inspections).

Morning (just) I've spent all morning so far dealing with one of my travellers who is stranded in ShangHai for the weekend with no passport. She's lost hers and the embassy isn't open to deal with a temporary one until Monday. She was due to fly home Sunday and is now stuck there until Tuesday it's been quite a flaff, but I've done as much as I can and now have to try and get on with other things for the rest of my day. TFIF it's been another real pig of a week and I can't wait to get home tonight. Weekend away visiting my Gma this weekend, so lots of driving and no real peace, but it'll be nice to see her. My work is 'observing' Earth Hour at noon today but I shall be working on a spreadsheet so I'm not taking part. I have deadlines and don't believe Earth Hour makes the slightest bit of difference anyway. I may even go put the kettle on during that hour as well for a fresh cuppa, but we'll see. Otherwise it's just mopping up the various jobs that need doing before the weekend.
