I don't think it'll be as bad as it is over here. Some groups over here speak through their noses!

Thing is, how stupid would you have to be as a Morrisons wine stacky person to put a cardboard tray of 12 bottles of wine on top of a stack with only the first 6 bottles actually resting on the bottles below??

Should we feel worse than we do about the whole thing??

Well, either the bottles were in a better position than that when they started off of the person doing the stacking didn't notice or simply didn't care.

I don't think you should feel bad really. It wasn't deliberate after all but a consequence of poor stacking of the stock. If it didn't happen to you it would probably have happened to the next person picking up the bottles and you wouldn't have gotten the entertainment value out of it.

Should hopefully be getting my prescription safety glasses sorted out today.
What a mess it's been.
My Optician, Specsavers won't do safety glasses unless you buy their own. Guess what, my employer doesn't do that, they issue a form that an optician needs to fill in to have the glasses dispensed by a third party.
Tried D&A, nope, they don't deal with the company who issue the forms.
Tried an independent opticians and they said fine but the frames you've selected are too small for your eyes.
I just can't win I tell you. Third or fourth time lucky I guess.

Or, you know, not. It would appear the safety officer didn't specify the lens material so I need to find out on Monday.
Arrrrgh!

It might be time to consider getting new friends, if his addiction is causing you problems.

I never had the best relationship with my dad, but you really don't want the crap that's in my head right now, (and has been for the last 6 months or so). Is there no way that you two can patch things up? I'm not being nosey, just trying to save you some sleepless nights and a whole lot of guilt further down the line...

This is actually the first time the smoke has affected me like that, so we'll see how it goes.

My dad's just completely a lost cause (long story), and I'm a lone voice in the family as I'm the only other bloke, if you get me. I won't be suffering any guilt when he goes, believe me ;)

Yeah, savings, thousands in fact - pity it's for a house deposit, isn't it? See above ;)
