Greetings.

Three more days, then I can get back to a reasonably normal life. I've enjoyed the hard work, but the tedium is the killer. Then again, I only have to think of the money to get back on track.

Have a jolly Tuesday.

Morning all,

I'm tired and bleary-eyed....
I'd grumble, but I'm not sure I have the energy...

Blah.

Too much to do and not enough time to do it in.

It doesn't help that "little" jobs which are supposed to be quick, keep expanding into monster jobs that take forever to get done, especially since it's making me resent the asker. In addition I still have someone stuck in ShangHai who may or maynot get their paperwork in time for their revised flight date of Thursday, I have two urgent China visas to complete, parking to book, 2 very large meetings to move, 1 meeting to set up across 3 continents, a new passport application to complete and 11 people to fill in online registrations forms for so they can fly to China for a conference in May.

I think a cup of tea is in order!!

Morning all.

Back continuing to improve in leaps and bounds, to the point where I'm already going to start weaning myself off some of the painkillers (the Diazepam first as it's addictive). The only downside at the moment is that I get periouds of extreme tiredness for a short while after taking it.

In other news the stag do is all sorted. Tickets for the gig are booked and we've found that the youth hostel on Oxford Street will do B&B for £23 a night for non-members, plus it's open 24hr, so we don't have to worry about getting back from the gig for a deadline.

The chickens have also started laying eggs and the ones we've sampled so far have been absolutely delicious, so much better than Tesco Extra Special Organic ones. Yes the initial outlay wasn't cheap, but we will now get about 400 eggs / year for about £18 worth of chicken feed.

Morning all. PC just about booted. Standard morning hospital appointment completed. I'm off at about half twelve to head to the county hospital in Guildford. Pretty pointless day at work! Hrmph!

Lo peeps

Off work this week looking after kids. One has gone down with pains in his lower stomach and I'm just waiting for a call from the duty doctor. I hate seeing children in pain.

Morning.

Wet and windy here. I note snow is once again the headline, so if you're affected be safe.

Two more days...

Back keeps on improving. I've already been able to halve the amount of diazepam I'm taking, which is a blessing as it can cause acute tiredness after a short while.

Today's other missions include getting my young persons rail card renewed and finally getting a haircut. Highlights may be in the offing as well, as my employer seem to have sorted out my tax code.
