Mark, it's just as well you feel reassured by having a shorter lens...

It's all about width, Nick, not length. Well, that is until I get me a 400mm with 2x converter. (8+p Mark

There's now a preview up on Flickr of my images. I'm not totally happy with the treatments of some of the images so there's still tinkering to be done. Mark

Yeah, it's very flat. That set's only a preview, though to be honest, I think I'll only be removing a couple of images and tinkering with a few more. On the whole, I'm really happy with it. I think it contains a couple of shots which I'd class as the best I've ever taken (go through the set looking at the comments for the actual images). It was also the very first time I'd played around with longer shutter speeds on a moving tide and a couple of those shots are right up there with my favourites too. I think on the whole, from a personal development perspective, it was a very successful trip, and I enjoyed it tremendously. Mark

I think that's the key. If you get good shots out of the experience as well, that's a bonus!

Many of the early photos have quite a blue tinge. Damp and cold is very Belfast but we've been having such lovely weather lately Otherwise, some very nice shots in there.
