Didn't get in until 1.30am and now have a sore throat due to my mate's ongoing cannabis addiction...

My dad's collapsed in the street with chest pains (not for the first time, and he'll be fine), the two girls who found him are still here, and I'm expected to play all concerned when I really couldn't give a sh1t about the useless bastard

And I shall spend today trying to sort out my savings no doubt - I've been happier

Oh dear. I trust you had a backup (or two).

Anyway, afternoon folks. Having forgotten to post in here yesterday I figured I'd better remember today.
Feeling quite chuffed as I've just cut my gas and electric bills and gotten them to refund the credit I'd built up on the old DD amounts. Rather impressed at how easy it was. As a bonus the refund should just about cover the cost of getting anew aerial put on the house so I can actually get freeview and a non-fuzzy analogue picture (while it lasts anyway).

Have a great day folks (and chin up to those who have suffered a disaster already).

Morning all,

Works been slow recently, the project I'm assigned to is being put back further and further. Prompting me to look more seriously at a nice offer thats been put down from a company in the private sector.

I've also put a deposit down for a car this week and should have that next month.

Also, it's only a few weeks until my birthday, something to celebrate.

Enjoy your day/night 8-)

Morning all.
Feeling knackered even though I had a quiet night last night.
Realized I've got a lot of stuff to tidy up tonight, might be a massive ebay session to clear some space.

Morning.

Yesterday was a bit of a wasted space. I'm meant to be working, but what with that election thing finally being lanced like a painful boil, I got a little distracted.

Bad Heather. :x

So, today, once I've done my morning trawl of the interwebs, I shall quit Safari and my news aggregator with a stern promise not to launch them again until at least lunchtime. Email and IM apps will remain active, though.

I bet I can make it to, oh, 9.05am before I crack.

Have a good Wednesday.

*wave*

Morning World!!

HK you were very active yesterday, I bet your creativity is being stifled by the dark and moronic stimulation of an upcomming election in which you are not a candidate!! I hope you manage to stick to your guns today and hit a creative streak a mile wide :D

I've got lots to do today, little time to do it in and have just realised I'm on a full-day training course tomorrow learning "Presence & Impact" which has made everything a bit more squished. Still, early finish tonight, but in the meantime I have to figure out how to give my boss his travel pack today, for a trip to Dusseldorf tomorrow, with absolutely no idea what hotel he'll be staying in, if one's even been booked!!

It's hard being more efficient than anyone else in the company ;)

Happy Hump Day!!

Morning all.

Sorting out the new aerial and then probably going to London for a bit of a change in scenery today.
I may even take the new camera now that I have a sensible bag to put it in.

Off to check the weather first though.

Have a great day folks.

Lo peeps

Due to the old memory playing its ghastly tricks again, I made two packed lunches for today - a salad last night and a sausage sarnie this morning  There is an upside though - sausage sarnie for brekkie :D :D

Morning all

Wednesday already – love 4 day weeks

If old “uncle ERNIE” ever came through with the big one (only ever had 1 £50 win) then although not enough to give up work would defiantly go part time/ job share

'Sup guys? :-)

Had my customary 3 hours of sleep on a mate's sofa. Head has about recovered from getting a whiff of something curiously smokable last night. Thanks, druggies. :x

Got a very interesting job offer yesterday, so today is essentially sort out my CV and sort out what I can on my car before it goes into the garage tomorrow for new suspension and carb. :)

Have a good one guys. :)

Flying visit for me while AVing a PC remotely. Having fun with Final Cut on a mac in Amsterdam today. Wouldn't launch so having to install again over the network from London via Casper for the more geeky amongst you. It's taking AAAAGGGGESSSS. All good fun.

Hope you are all well and not working manic-ly hard like me.

Toodles!

Morning. Couldn't drag myself out of bed this morning even though I had another quiet night. I feel more tired after a 4 day weekend than I do normally.
The wife & kid are back today so time for a quick tidy before they arrive.
