I have never seen the point of twitter, it has always seemed to me to be a vastly restrictive form of social network. However, in a time of immense procrastination I have signed up.
Does anyone else use it? What's your user-name?

You have been added.
Has anyone got any experience of these apps that link FB status to tweets? Is it just anything status update on FB gets tweeted? Which is the best app/way to do this?

I mostly use it for pseudo celebrity stalking. A lot of comedians are on it which can be entertaining, and some of them tweet pretty heavily. Fry is currently on sabbatical whilst writing a new book.

Well, he's tweeted once today. I guess that's sabbatical for him!

No, it's the other way around (though there may be apps that tweet your Fb status). Quite a few people I know on both Twitter and Fb have their tweets posted to Fb as their status. It's a right pain in the arse to be honest, but I do understand why they do it. There's also selective tweets available which only updates your Fb when you include #fb (I think, someone that actually cares may be able to confirm that). I try to mainly use it for Sci-Fi stuff that I come across online and photography related stuff. I've yet to see any real world benefit to it. Mark

Yes - there is a FB app which does that. It does, however, rob you of 3 precious characters. I am @hairydalek

It seems the twitter FB app is broken and has been for a while, I'm hoping it will start to work again soonish.

I don't really use Twitter as a social thing like Facebook. Instead i generally use it as a more heavily updated RSS Feed, generally following gaming sites and/or developers/publishers.
