The more fundamental, evolutionary psychology issue is that of financial and social status. Chicks are programmed to like dudes with nice cars. But hey, you go save the planet

Just realised something today. There's a lady at the place I work who lives just near me who gets a lift everyday as she lost her license 6 months ago.
Obviously she gets it easy because she gets a lift but she said she found she very quickly got used to not having a car.

I do not have a car, and it is a pain sometimes but it is not essential.
