So what do people think about a Friday night Wales-England opening fixture? I'm mixed. On the one hand it means I'm fairly likely to be able to get some tickets, but transport to/from Cardiff on the Friday this year wasn't exactly fun.

I disagree with the Friday night fixtures to be honest. It really makes things much harder for fans travelling and increases the not unsubstantial costs by having to loose a days work as well.
England Wales isn't too but but anybody against France or Italy is a nightmare.
I don't like them much either. The only thing they have going for them is I'm slightly more likely to be able to get to a game than my debenture-holding friends/family. It makes for a very long day, though, as I can't justify time off work or an overnight stay for 33 blokes running around a field.

The last time I had an offer of a ticket for an evening international in Cardiff the last train left 15 minutes before the end of the game ! Planned Engineering works in the Severn tunnel
I remember watching the game on TV and they let the Cardiff school children attend for free as there were so many unsold tickets.
