It stole a $50 tripod and left the $1,000 camera behind. Obviously the real reason why those bears are heading for extinction is poor financial planning rather than global warming.

Doesn't the article state that the photographers picked up all their camera gear, except their tripods, and made a dash for one of their trucks? I also think the tripod that it made off with was significantly more than $50. That bear has expensive tastes. Mark
