Just had the guy from next door drop by to ask my help with a problem he's got with his computer. I couldn't find a quick answer and as I'm also a Mac user I don't really know much about Windows at all, so I thought I'd see if any of you knowledgeable folk might be able to help.
It concerns password protected spreadsheets in Excel. Basically a password was used to protect a couple of .xls files and now that password has been forgotten. He's tried everything he can think of (he set this particular password which was changed every month) but no go. Is there any way to get round this, or is there any other software that can open these spreadsheets?
The PC is running Windows XP Professional. If any other info would help I can go round and find out. Thanks.
