I've read that there will be no flights until 7am tomorrow. Our flights dept phones have gone into overdrive at the moment.

I also read that the quickest way to resolve this is by having Kerry Katona snort the ash cloud. It will be gone in seconds. :P

I don't know who Kerry Katona is, I might just keep it that way.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Iceland terrorised us with small singing pixies:

Then with singing human cartoons:

And now with The Cloud Of Doom.

I no longer know where to hide....

They did also give us Emiliana Torrini, so it's not all bad ;)

We might also get some dramatic sunsets.

And even a blue moon.

Good job I flew up to Aberdeen last night. It wouldn't do to be late for work on my first day.

Makes me fretting about my car's carbon footprint seem somewhat pointless now...

Why fret when you can create your very own ash cloud and make a cool noise at the same time ;)

Latest news from the Wench is that their flight may well be delayed until Monday. It would appear that the Lukasa - Heathrow direct doesn't come that high up the list of priorities when working through the backlog.

I must admit I do like seeing a sky completely untouched by vapour trails.
