I bought Band of Brothers in HMV just before Christmas on special offer, then told everyone I know how much I liked it. I unwrapped three more box-sets on Christmas day!

Pacific is good but you have to identify quickly with the characters because they chuck them in to the [LIFTED] very quickly and it was a little confusion working out who was who so I watch the first one twice just to get my head round it.
The fire fights are just amazing

I've got Band of brothers on DVD but haven't found the time to watch it yet. Might have to make the time now that everyone's saying how good it is.

Well I've bitten the bullet and bought it. Nice tin. Will report back when I have found time to watch it (probably post-election).

Ended up in HMV this morning trying to spend some vouchers I got for my BD, saw BoB collection on blu-ray and though why not. So I look forward to watching them but need to get pacific out the way first so I don’t get confused

Got it on BluRay watched it when it came out, fantastic series. I got it for a friend and he loved it. The way you follow the characters through the series.
I think it's time for a Band of Brothers marathon after watching the pacific though.
Make sure you update us all with your verdict after.
