Hello.

The weather looks promising today. Yesterday was a bit of a waste of space, though. Quite expensive, too, since l'Atomo di Forza has finally been repaired, reassembled and collected.

Anyway, it's Tuesday and I have the prospect of the sales manager of the photocopier company visiting. They seem to get through sales managers like toilet paper. He'll be wasting his time and mine, but there you go.

Have a good Tuesday folks!

Had to have one of my all-new strong painkillers to even get out of bed this morning....stupid fractured rib. At least I'm able to get on with some work. Weather looks good; have a nice day one and all!

Lo peeps

A couple of things to mention - the wee boy went over his ankle on Sunday so I spent a quiet day yesterday babysitting. Such a waste of a days annual leave. He's back at school today yelling 'Ow' every time his left foot contacts the ground (but the yelping is strangely absent when he runs up the stairs when he thinks no one is looking  ).

The second thing I would like to mention should now be obvious :D

Morning all. Apparently twice weekly hospital trips are now a thing of the past. Until next Wednesday anyhoo. And with any luck I'll be trying to find somewhere to live over the summer this evening...

Morning all.
Just got in to the office after a visit to a potential customer, now to draw up the contract & produce my recommendations.

Band practice tonight which could be interesting as the guitarist is in Portugal. Hopefully it'll work as a 3 piece.

Afternoon All,

I got going early this morning, I've done my painting (for now) and have to wait for everything to dry before I can do anything else. The plaster on the outside wall is completely rubbish, as soon as it gets even a little bit wet it flakes off in sheets and is annoyingly difficult to paint over. I've left it now to dry and will see about putting another thin layer on later when I'm painting up this end.

I've also painted the radiator which was a horrible yellow colour and it's now glistening white but that won't dry for a while either.

Perhaps I will be playing some Age of Empires this afternoon after all!?!? 8-)

So far today I have mainly been administering Nagios (does anyone here use it?).
I really dislike the command line interface.

Lo.

Morning all. I think my morning thus far is bes summarised by the fact I forgot to put butter/spread/pre-jam on my toast this morning. Anyhoo, this cheered me up, and I think I actually get nearly all of it today. Think it's in my top ten. I especially like the arena.

I just caught myself idly trying to work out what that resistor mass would actually be, and realized I had self-nerd-sniped.
