Trying to get her back online (PC Laptop, Tosh, probably pretty swish, ethernet etc)

I'm MacOS10.4.11/PC-XP-ethernetted, BT broadband...

plugging into BT line direct doesn't work - maybe diff home Nos?

Ideas please, crashing for a few...

Almost certainly. Call BT and tell them you wanna access the broadband with a different CLI. You might be able to add one to the account, or you might have to change it over.

Sorry about the house. Gutted. :(
