which i guess is because, like everyone, i dislike asylum seekers.
[LIFTED] off.

im sorry, do you two like asylum seekers? :?

There are all kinds of migrants, asylum seekers and other categories of folk who may choose to visit this isle on which I was born.

Personally, I apply the exact same judgements to them as I do to those born here.

I despise selfish, work-shy folk who believe it is their right to take without giving.

I respect those who work hard to support themselves and their families.

Personally, I'd like to see an end to all border control. Anyone could live anywhere, provided they accord to the local laws and customs. That means contributing to the local society to their best ability, and not trying to bleed the system nor bend it to their alien standards.

Ditto, it was pretty much opposite to how I would vote tbh

I think I got UKIP/BNP as top as I put that immigration was one of my key factors, but I wasn't that impressed by the other questions asked

I completely agree. Of course it won't happen, but it's a beautiful idea. All this talk of immigration [LIFTED] me off. People are so quick to stop people coming here as a blanket thing. To pinch a lovely policy from Mark Thomas' "The People's Manifesto" tour:
"Anyone in favour of banning immigration should sign a register and they will be banned from travelling abroad."

Here's another interesting one for you, if UKIP espouse the values a lot of us agree on, why wouldn't people vote for them?

Because their remaining policies are heinous.

Hitler had a lot of great policies, but that one little item concerning genocide would prevent me voting for him.

Green Party: 51%
Labour Party: 45%
Conservative Party: 34%

I'd never vote UKIP or BNP, so those parties were omitted. I have already been doorstepped by the tories. I think that they might have written me off now. :D

Fair enough, I haven't seen the rest of their policies. Can you enlighten me?

As for Hitler, I agree, although I don't think he announced genocide, alongside his awesome health plan in the early 30s.

My results:-
British National Party: 61%
UK Independence Party: 60%
Conservative Party: 55%
Green Party: 30%
Labour Party: 30%
Liberal Democrats: 27%

I won't be voting for either the BNP or UKIP, but of the others I've yet to make my mind up.

I know :? Not good.

I'm not sure why I got that. I said that I'd like immigration controlled, but equally I said it was my least important policy.

I'm not voting for them anyhow...

maybe you should have excluded them as an option because you would not vote for them? ;)

Zis is for me:

UK Independence Party: 60%
Conservative Party: 40%
Liberal Democrats: 31%
Green Party: 21%
Labour Party: 20%

Not the worst assessment, I will (most likely) be voting UKIP at the election so that's fair enough.

You have no problem with the policies JJ refers to then? I'm intrigued...

Everybody knows all of Europe is wrong, and that the only reason of existence of Europe is to take money from the good English citizens to feed the rest of the nations. And those foreigners, coming to the UK, taking jobs, claiming benefits... completely legally!

btw this is very, very sarcastic

Well, JJ has his reasons for thinking UKIP heinous, that's his right, it's each to their own. I know I have no chance of agreeing with every single policy from any of the parties, so I've just gone for the one which has more that I agree with, than I disagree with. That happens to be the UKIP this time.

Of course, the chances of anyone coming to government sticking to their election promises is so far remote as to make it not worth considering.
