Despite the fact that Ridley's Alien was a great film and H.R.Giger might be back on board, I can't get enthused about this at all. Still, one must hope for the best.

I'm looking at it as, 'Fcuk it, why not?'. It's not like Alien 3 and 4 were any great shakes, AvP was average at best, and AvP2 was a technological marvel in that it looked to have been made by the internet. Or at least it's retards...

Basically the series is so tarnished now (a great shame) that it can probably only get better - just think Alien/human hybrid, or Alien/Predator hybrid. The only way is up ;)

Before I post any more links (it takes fecking ages), I was thinking of putting the films in question into sections within a post, so you can jump to whatever you're into with the potentially geekier stuff coming first and maybe in this order; Sci-Fi, horror, comic book, action, thriller, comedy, the somewhere inbetweens...

Let me know what order you'd ideally want them in, or any other suggestions*, and I'll see what I can do :)

* Even along the lines of, 'Who even watches comedies here?' if you want, cos I generally don't like Yank comedy, and the Brit stuff is nothing to wet yourself over

My favourite car chase is in Ronin. Wonder if this effort will top that.
