Greetings.

Ventured forth to one of the lowlier parts of the Medway Towns early this morning, armed with the camera gear. The weather was not what I'd have liked, but at least it wasn't actually raining. I'm now going to have a look at what I captured.

Enjoy your Sunday.

Morning all.

Anyway, Columbo was brilliant yesterday and I bumped into one Mr. Benedict on the way into the theatre as well.
I thought it was a really good play and lived up well to my memories of the TV series. If it's on in your area and you liked Columbo then I recommend trying to catch it (it's called Diagnosis Murder).
To cap it all some of the folk I went with decided that yesterday would be a good day for a barbecue so there was lots of grilled meat and beer in the evening as well. I made pudding and we watched Zombieland on Blu-ray.
All in all and excellent evening was had by all.

It's piddling with rain here at the moment, so much for the nice weekend. I don't think I'll be cutting the grass today and I suspect it will have a serious growth spurt after today :(
Ah well, I'll just have to catch up with other stuff inside.

Have a great day folks.

Do we have a bad film thread? I tried to watch The Core again.

I managed 38 minutes.

Afternoon,

I'm made of "ache" today. Everything from my throat down to my diaphragm is aching from the throwing up on Friday/Saturday. I can't believe how out of practise I am at drinking!! I suppose this is one of those "I'm not as young as I used to be" moments, but at least I don't feel sick anymore 8-)

Today we went to the fish shop and bought a red-clawed crab and two bamboo shrimp, all are looking really good I hope they get on alright with their new tankmates!! It's really hard to take decent pictures of fish, I'll have to see what I've gathered on my phone cam which is the best digital cam we have in the house (just downloading now)

The rest of the day will be spent cooking roast lamb with mint sauce, yorkshires, gravy and veg for dinner, followed by bathies and then Eves pudding with custard...mmmm, comfort food FTW!! Back to work for a normal week tomorrow (boo) but otherwise life is all good. Hope you've enjoyed the weekend.

Lovely place. Hope you enjoy it. :D

Fantastic weekend flying birds of prey from Owls ( 5 oz ) up to Blue and Golden Eagles ( 8 lb ). I'm aching all over and a little sunburnt.

Stunning. :D

Morning World,

The weekend has passed by in a blur of activity and recovery, now back at work for a Monday of stress dealing with travellers from Asia and the driver who was supposed to pick them up early yesterday morning, what a grand start to the day!

Otherwise just keep on keeping on.

Morning all.

Early start today, managed to get up at 6am & have Aaron ready by 7am but couldn't get in to nursary until 7:30am so had half an hour of play time which left me knackered.
Can't see why everybody has to drop their kids off at the school next to the office at 8am in 4x4's when they're all stay at home mums (very posh school by the looks of things), you'd think I'd be able to park somewhere close to work arrivi ng that early.

Lo peeps

Today is my eldest son's 10th birthday :D All together now....

Right, I'm starting the week off with a Monday in a vain attempt at playing catch-up. Both my public and personal life have suffered over the past few months and I'm determined to turn it round to the point where I at least feel as though I'm in control.. I have some new patches to road test on the computerised mapping prog and some trees to look at for a punter.... erm, customer. Coffee is on so have a good one y'all.

Morning all.

Had a semi-productive morning in terms of work, and in terms of getting tickets for the GP semi-final.

We're also stuck with blurry, juddery, slow-panning 24 fps movies forever because (thanks to 60fps home video) people associate high framerates with camcorders and cheap sitcoms, and thus think good framerates look "fake".

I couldn't agree more.
