I've been on hold to Microsoft for over an hour now I'm having issues with some software I paid for and their response has been shocking. No "Hello" or "Goodbye", just a "Give me a one-line description of the problem" and he still didn't understand a word I was saying! Peter.

I take it all back. A very nice gentlemen telephoned me back and it's all sorted Peter.

Ok, what were the issues you were experiencing? Just a bit of fun, but let's see if we can figure out what was wrong with it anyway

Oh right, nothing like that. I needed a new product key for it because I no longer had access to the email account which contained it. The first call handler simply told me to buy a new retail version of it for £400.00 and reeled off a list of different retailers where it would be in stock! Anyway, the gentleman who telephoned me back gave me a new product key and a link to download the software It was their fault I needed to re-install in the first place, because Vista managed to die on me. Peter.

Sorry, I didn't manage to switch on the PC last night, as the wife was working and I was too busy playing the Dr Who Scene It game with my 7 year old daughter to worry about computers. I'll try and find a picture tonight. If I turn on the PC. Edit to add: Thanks for the info' Peter. That clears it up
