Am I the only one a bit crossed that the Avatar DVD can be bought cheaper than the price of 1 3D cinema ticket? I know experience blah blah but really?

And they're going to re-release the Blu-ray/DVD later in the year (presumably after it's been re-run in the cinema) with bonus features on, rather than just as a straight film as it is now.

I'm surprised it's selling for anything above 99p.

Had a fun morning tracking down a wire outside the office.

They are redoing the road and pavement out the front and when they put the new paving stones down, the left a white 3-core wire sticking out of the ground in a loop (it comes out and goes back down). Our director was worried it was a data cable, so I had to investigate.

Called the electrician, who came and had a look, we worked out it was just a plain electrical wire. We couldn't find anywhere in the cellar where it enters the building. We checked over the road, in the factory cellar, as well, but no wire there either...

In the end, we found the foreman of the roadworks and asked him. He hadn't any idea! They just found it and left it above ground, when they put the new paving stones down...

We repaired the cabled and the foreman will send somebody over to bury the cable back beneath the paving stones.

Reminds me more of Hudzen 10 (The android that was supposed to replace Kryten in Red Dwarf)
