OK peeps - another month, another topic and voting is now open following the late rush of entries last night :D Voting will close at midnight on Wednesday 7th May so get those little grey cells moving and cast your vote now :D

The rules:

* Voting occurs for one week from midnight on the last day of each month until midnight on the seventh day of the month.

* Please vote for your favourite three images.

* You cannot vote for your own image*

Your 1st choice will be awarded 5 points.
Your 2nd choice will be awarded 3 points.
Your 3rd choice will be awarded 1 point.

If there is a draw on say for example 15 points, then the image with the least number of votes will win, such that an image with 3 votes for 5 points will defeat the image with 5 votes for 3 points. It won't be the '2nd best' for everyone, but it will be the 'best' for the few. If it's good enough for a Grand Prix then it is good enough for here.

Please try and keep this thread for votes only, it will make it easier for me to tally up later. If you must comment on images and decisions then please do so in the original thread (once it is unlocked).

This thread will run for 1 week only closing at midnight on Friday 7th May. At that time the winner will have the option of choosing the next theme, and the deadline for entries to that theme will be the end of the current month.

Most importantly, good luck to all entrants.

Al

A difficult choice this round. I've spent a while deliberating, finally coming down to:

1. A Couple Into One
2. The Odd Couple
3. Bite Me

1. Petite Rubber Feet

It's a pair of wellies and they're awesome! The shot is nicely done too.

2. A Couple into One

I was expecting someone to shoot a couple of bogies, but this is in the same vein. The contrast between the brass coupling, copper pipe and white paint is very clear. It's a good shot.

3. Two light

I feel guilty giving this only third place because I really like the composition, but my first choices were deserving. The subject lamp for this fits the frame on the mirror and the general concept, but it's not as interesting as the wellies or the compression fitting.

Also ran: Bite me

I love this shot. It may end up as my wall paper, but despite it reminding me of many a couple I felt my 3 choices were worthy and justified.

Nice set. Worth waiting for :D
