In about an hour I shall be going out to get myself a beard trimmer, so I can shave my face without having to go beardless. (And my hair if I can't find the clippers!)

So, any recommendations before I set out and look for one?

(Looking to spend no more than about £25 quid)

Just use the clippers for both. It's what I do. It's what I've done for the last 12 years.

I would Tim, but the clippers we have are just that bit too big to get to all the places on my chin/jawline.

Not long now, think I'm going to head to Argos as they seem to have the best selection in town.

Any last minute tips? :?

;)

You might want to give Boots a try too.

If you haven't already gone - Remington DLC. It's about £20 and works beautifully. Had mine around a month. Got it from Argos as well.

Got a Remmington in the end, not sure if it's the model you've suggested as I'm back in the office now. Will check later though, cheers for the advice guys!

Now, to get that beard trimmed!

It's been a while since I got punched in the face, but would having a beard offer any cushioning protection?

Here we go again...! ;)

I'm not too sure to be honest, maybe grow one, then I'll hit you, shave if off while you're out, and hit you again when you wake up. Then you can tell us which hurt more??

;)

John: Do you think it would make any difference if you shaved your knackers before getting kicked in them??

Would it hurt more? Would having a thicker "cushion" of hair help ease the pain???

I can also answer with a resounding "don't know".

Only ever had them shaved once, (before having the snip) and I wasn't kicked in the nuts for quite a while after that. ;) :P

I'm not sure I'm up for offering the same test as I did with facial hair. ;)
