But how many years? The change came about after the usual ridiculous legal dispute...

As did I, but I got my address when the service was new. Google had a legal dispute and changed it to Googlemail somewhen in 2005...

Well, my oldest email is dated 14/02/06 although I don't know if I may have deleted any before then?

I've got a couple of gmail accounts that have been activated since the legal dispute happened. However being in Oz meant that it wasn't an issue for me. :)

I'm lost.

When I log in I can do so with either @googlemail.com or @gmail.com. When people email me they can do so with either @googlemail.com or @gmail.com.

So what is this all about?
