Can't afford it. The LibDems don't have that much money to spend.

They could always find a sympathetic designer, who might support their team. It's been done before.

I don't think any of them do. Aren't they all in debt? A few years ago there was talk by Labour to publicly fund the main political parties. Needless to say that idea was dropped as the public didn't want their taxes spent on getting politicians to lie to them.

Isn’t the Labour Party in dire straits (no, not the band)? If we get a hung parliament and no over all consensus is reached about who should do the ruling, there will have to be another General Election called, and they will all have to start again.

Got the same letter from our Lib Dem guy, written in both Welsh and English. I know a few people who thought it was real too. You know what really bugs me about it though? It's the fact that it takes mere minutes to hook that word processor up to a database/spreadsheet with everybody's names in it and then matched up the name on the letter to a name on the envelope... If they don't bloody know how to use a computer, take it away and give them a typewriter! FFS! (Sorry, that kind of thing really gets on my nerves...I'll talk about it in counselling later today...)Personally, I think a better campaign would have prospective MP's dropping branded USB sticks through the letterbox with PDF files on it explaining the parties policies. You could then wipe the PDFs if you wanted to, but you'd still be carrying around a (free) branded USB stick...

Well, I also got a letter this morning. I'd say it was hand written and scanned. What do you think?

To be honest, that’s better than using a handwriting font. Shows he wrote the thing, not his PA.
