Had I thought about it, maybe. But it's too late on the day!!
Besides, the rest of my post stands.

I find it interesting that voting habits on these forums are very different to the general population.

We are probably brighter more logical and able to decide on who to vote rather than a purely hate Gordon or love Cameron basis.

Bollocks. The amount of bickering here about "I would never vote this way because...." or "These people will definitely cock it all up" etc, has been considerable. The ratio of [LIFTED] talked here regarding irrelevant nonsense, next to conversation about real change has been disappointing to say the least. But hey, what do I know.....?

Real change depends on the votes of millions of others of voters. Until we have a government which can get popular support whether by a huge majority or by coalition we have to wait and see.

Gordon's speech is amazingly dignified. I'd nearly like him.

The right to vote has nothing to do with change. Voters? Maybe, if they actually wanted real change, rather than just a different colour they would do more than just put their "x" on a piece of paper. If they don't they're still at the whims of the system.

Just for the record I don't mind stating that I voted Labour.
You could say "better the devil you know"... it could also be because... and I'm going to stop now as I just typed out, (and deleted) the reasons I chose not to vote Conservative or LibDem then realised that it was probably a bit too insulting to the party leaders, and I mean on a personal level.

I wonder what would have happened if the 15,000,000 people who could vote but didn't, did?

I know a number of people who didn't go to vote out of spite. I know about an equal number of people who went and spoilt their ballots...

There's actually an investigation in to voting fraud in Manchester. It seems the people working at at least one of the polling stations were writing the voters electoral roll numbers on the slips and thus spoiling them clicky.
