Lap 24 out of 56.

Wow! Not necessarily the most exciting race I've ever seen, but certainly one of the most interesting.

Just gone onto intermediate tyres and I've got the impression that they'll be gone in just a few laps.

WTF is going on with a SECOND overtake on the entrance to the pit lane?!?!?!?

Safety car out for the second time, apparently for a piece of wreckage the size of a binbag! Is this the US of A?

Who's going to get the pit-stop record this week? My guess is 6 stops

Everyone seems to have lost their minds this week.

And, I was right. Two drivers made six stops!

What was interesting was that McClaren had a 1,2 and Button had two stops, while Hamilton had four. Imagine what Hamilton could have achieved on the same strategy.

After it all settled down, that turned into one of the best races I've ever seen. You can always count on the rain to make things more exciting.

And the controversy  I'm not yet fully up to speed on all the teams and drivers but, after Hamilton's first pit-lane controversy, wasn't that two drivers from the same team battling at the pit entrance later on?

Lewis is a hell of a racer, but he doesn't seem to give a toss for the rules at times. At least it is nice to see someone who makes an effort

I'm definitely not sorry that I am getting back into F1 :D

Yeah an exciting race :D

Looks like Hamilton will suffer a grid penalty though re. pit-lane when he almost took out the Red Bull car.

The final third did seem to be a little boring but a couple of things on the last couple of laps made the overall race very enjoyable. I caught the first half this morning and have only just finished the second, had to make sure I didn't catch any news whilst I was travelling across the country.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Hmm... I'm not so sure about that.

Although the slow motion made it pretty obvious that the Red Bull car was moving when he was let go I think in real world terms they were set off almost simultaneously. Also, if he hadn't had the wheel spin which slid his back end out then I think he would have made it out in front of Vettel.

You have to have a few bad boys in F1 to spice things up and Lewis is doing just that but Vettel is no angel.

Reprimands issued for pit near-miss

Good race all round, good win Jenson :D

I must admit I'm concerned what the races will be like without the added interest of rain. Think back to the first race of the season. Yawns

A few water tanks around every course randomly set to deluge the track during each GP would get my vote. :D

Avid followers probably know this already but the new plans for the Silverstone GP circuit have been unveiled.

I know the venue needs to keep up with modern times but its a shame to see the basic shape go. I always preferred the 80/90s layout. Hopefully the new layout will provide some good racing.

Half a mile longer and more area for spectators, it will be interesting to see how it runs.

Red Bull one two and Schumacher third in Friday practice. Rain showers predicted for the next few days around Barcelona but only drizzle for sunday, shame.
