http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/electio ... tures.htmlStriking photos, but I couldn't help thinking that due to the apparent lack of people around him there, that the photographer might have been better lending a hand (if practical). I mean I know he's UKIP... And is it just me, or would the press maybe have shied away from such photos, say, 10 years ago?

Yeah I got that impression too - especially in the photo where he is upside down in the plane, head down with apparently nobody helping him.

I witnessed an accident once and my first instinct was to grab the camera. My second was, hang on I know first-aid, I should go and help if I can. I did the latter and feel much better for it, not that there was much I could do.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

What the hell does he use to stick that rosette on? Can't believe it's still attached after a plance crash.

Does anyone else think that he looks like a zombie here? Even though I think UKIP are a joke I do hope that he is recovering.

I'm amased that he was able to walk. Two broken ribs, and a chip in his back if I remember correctly?

When I saw it on the news, I was really taken aback. I wasn't sure if they'd done it just because of his party. Either way, I'm not sure it's on.
