YAY!!

I've got a new car. well, I haven't actually got it yet, I'm picking it up on Friday.

Its a red Mk6 Fiesta 1.4 Zetec, 53 reg with 49,000 miles.

Sodding annoying this is they're only giving me £750 for my old fiesta, so if anyones looking for a smart little runaround, to be bought before friday, I've got one,

Nice

My insurance is up next month I was tempted to sell my car and get an old MR2.... insurance from last year - this year 3rd party to fully comp works out the same and I get a cool sporty car (economy sucks though :( )

Might wait till I get a proper paid job for it though.

I wish my car only had 49,000 miles on it. :(

Great little car, got the exact same model as that (54 reg) with 30k. Until I got it, I was never a fan of Fords (especially the old Fiesta), but the mark 6 is a great runaround and the 1.4 petrol is pretty nippy around town (and not bad on the motorway too!). You won't be disappointed.

I'm upgrading to the new shape Fiesta hopefully towards the end of this year if I can afford it, but I'll be sad to see this one go - which is unusual for me, as after a couple of years I'm usually sick of my previous cars.

Add a 1 before the start of that and it is near my mileage

Awwww!

Why did you sell the one with the brilliant 1.25? Epic little engine...:D

But yeah, Fiestas are nice little cars. The 1.4 is a little bit more gutsy, and a very quick way to make it a bit faster is to get a throttle body from a 1.6 Zetec ford, and put it on. Same mountings, but wider inside. :)

Good luck!
