So, has anyone tried Java the coffee? I want to try it - is there anywhere on the high street that will sell me a cup? I don't want to go and buy a bag of beans, grind them, and then boil them or what ever you do to them to get coffee! Do Starbucks/Nero/Costa sell Java?

I don't drink coffee. Don't like it. I love the smell but not the taste.

I hope so, even if it is it's not that funny though

I don't understand? Java is a island that produces coffee. Why is it a joke to want to try it?

I think our local tea and coffee shop sells it, but I've not tried it.
I was disappointed last year working at Sun, there were a few cafe counters called "Java Cafe's", but they didn't sell Java coffee...

Java is a really good coffee, rich and full bodied and with very definite chocolate overtones. When I lived in Darlington there was a cafe that I used to go to and would order a cafetiere of java along with a slice of their sticky toffee meringue and it was a taste explosion. I would say always have java with something sweet as it compliments the chocolatey overtones of the coffee. I would also say that it's one of the few coffees I prefer to drink black as I feel that the taste of java is adversley affected by milk.

Because it would clearly be more suitable in the general discussion area for one

Of course. Taylors of Harrogate do a very good java and all major supermarkets have their own brand packs of java ground coffee. EDIT: Mind you, if you mean the likes of Starbucks then no. They might have it in occasionally as a guest coffee, but not as a regular option.

Ah okay. Doesn't look like I'll be trying it any time soon then. Hmm, I still don't quite understand the response but meh.
