Morning.

Wish it was sunny here. :|

Got lots to do, with no inclination to do any of it. I wish I could tell what it was I'm supposed to be actually doing with life, but there you go.

Keep buggering on.

Morning World,

Monday morning, the office is quiet (and very cold) it's Conference week and the majority of my teams are in London for the week. Finally a chance to get caught up on all those "misc" jobs that hang around waiting to be done while I'm busy doing my day job. Didn't have a terribly productive weekend, but then it's nice to have a really lazy one every once in a while. We watched V for Vendetta, Star Trek and Avatar over the weekend all of which were good in their own way and it's become obvious that when we both enjoy a film we discuss it afterwards in quite a lot of detail, films we're both ambivalent about hardly get a mention after they've been watched.

Well, my heater isn't working, I can't really feel my fingers and I wish I had an extra jumper on today, but other than that it's another Monday, the sky is grey and the sun has vanished. Time for a cup of tea, listen to my messages and then get on with the day.

Have a good Monday Everyone

Morning all. Another early start at work.
Time to filter through the couple of hundred emails I got over the weekend before the phones start ringing.

Hello.

I'm hoping the fine weather will last, although it could do with being a bit warmer as well. I was hoping to have put all my jumpers and cardies away by now.

Taking l'Atomo di Forza into the greasemonkeys to check his nuts and vitals are all tickety-boo. We'll take the opportunity to do a spot of shopping in Maidstone, though I get so bored shopping these days. Not having much cash to splash makes it a drag, and window shopping doesn't really cut it I'm afraid.

Had a good old giggle about the political stuff yesterday. It amused me, and it seems many others, how the media turned to eating themselves in the light of no real news about coalitions and deals and stuff. 24 hour news in this country is rapidly becoming a parody of itself.

Anyway, whatever you're doing and wherever you're doing it, be good.

Morning World,

Had a migraine for most of yesterday but still managed to make an impressive dent in my "To Do" list. Hoping to carry on the momentum today when I *don't* feel rotten. Got to keep an eye on all this travel stuff going off, I've got people in foreign countries and people in the air, although I am glad I have instinctively steered clear of booking anyone on BA, even when it seemed an agreement had been reached.

I need a cup of tea and then it's time to start the day. Have a good Tuesday xx

I'd say it already has.

'lo childs.
Had a great few days in Bruges with a mate and our cameras (last Thursday - Sunday).
However the auto-focus function on my camera has decided to pack in, so I'll be looking for any help/advice that's available online before I take it to some place and most likely have them pack it off to someplace else to get it fixed.
I'm hoping it's not too expensive to get repaired, but I have already prepared myself for the shock of getting a rather large quote for mendage.
No images are online yet (apart from the mobile ones I uploaded to Fb) as I'm trying to sort out the top 50 so I can do something with them. I'm currently stuck at the 35 marker.
Take it easy peeps.

Mark

Morning all,

Picked up a new TV for the bedroom last night, which I'll try to find time to set up tonight. Aside from that and revising for tomorrows exam, (information systems) there's not much to report so...

Have a great day everyone.

:)

As per yesterday, this morning was glorious sunshine first thing but has now clouded over.
So long as it's not raining at lunchtime or home time I don't really mind I suppose.

Going to see Hot Tub TIme Machine this evening. I'm expecting so bad it's funny.

Have a great day folks.

Morning - strike that: Afternoon

Now that I've all but finished the bathroom, I've got the kitchen in pieces.

Having emptied the cupboards, I've found my Sabatier 6" Cook's knife - I've been looking for it for 3 years.

Good good
