You know I posted the good news about my better half being pregnant the other week. Well, today I have to post news of the polar opposite. She had a miscarriage early this morning. We are back home after 13 hours of hospitals. She’s out of the woods - and physically OK but in need of recovery time. She’s sleeping upstairs now. We are, obviously, rather upset at the moment. We'll bounce back, but right now it's all feeling a bit raw.
I’ve got the job of “untelling” people. It’s not fun, but so far everyone has been very supportive. We've both been on the go since 4am, so I’ll be wanting to doze off too.
I may be back here later on.
Sad, but we are both being pretty pragmatic about it. It happens - the doctors have said that it's nothing we've done - it's just a natural thing that happens. I’m off for a mope.
