£10 a month would probably pay for an upgrade on the cable TV or an iPhone at the end of the year.

I've been pondering this one since you posted it. If the £10 a week weer just given to me in my paycheque every month, I suspect I wouldn't do anything special with it, use it in the food shopping or something. If, however, I was presented with a crisp tenner by a person every week, I would plan to use it in one of these ways: Buy tickets to see a person, a band or a thing Wait until the end of the year and then buy flights to somewhere hot Work considerably harder at completing our James Bond DVD Collection Treat us to a really nice dinner each time that much was saved.

I'd use it to go snowboarding once a year.

my usual budget for a piece of comploopy hardware is about £150, so that would be a new graphics card, CPU and motherboard in a year and a little left over for other components

I'd put it aside towards one of these. EvolutionAt £6k plus extras I may be waiting sometime.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

A tenner a week is more than I spend on fags. :-/ Probably about what I spend on alcohol though. £20-30 a week for the privilege of worsening the state of my body isn't too bad since I have a damn good time doing it. Probably use it to pay my phone contract and spend the rest on miscellaneous rubbish that I buy from time to time.

Me too, if however someone presented me the note (well it'd actually be about $16 so the notes and one coin) I'd probably save it in segments to buy something like a new telly, or some housey bits.

Inevitably, something shiny. So, when are you going to start giving us all £10 a month?
