   | http://www.computerandvideogames.com/ar ... ?id=245189I don't think any of the stores actually sold MW2 at £55, did they? _________________Plain English advice on everything money, purchase and service related:

   | maybe if they were stupid, or had no competition within a 60 mile radius either way, good luck to them, misguided people will still buy it, even if its the same kack thats been rereleased for the past 4 years

   | Wasn't MW2 £55? Yet sainsburys were doing it for £30 and other supermarkets for £30-35. Yet the likes of Game were still selling it at around £50. Hell I bought my copy for £32 from Amazon. _________________ He fights for the users.

   | My MW2 came with a free XBOX 360 but there is no way I am going to pay £55 for a game. Not when I have a shop called Ross Records that has a fantastic 2nd hand section down the road._________________Finally joined Flickr

   | Ooooh - looks good.
As for the price tag - yes it's a lot of money, but considering the hours of entertainment I don't think it works out too bad.

I think MW2 was worth 55 quid having spent roughly 10 days of game time on it (although I didn't pay 55 obviously).

   | I got 5 hours out of the last one, as the multiplayer was unusable. It was only £40 on the PC but even that was dreadful value. _________________

   | From limited experience of the recent MW games, I found they were full of great set pieces but none of it really mattered since the character chatter was annoying/confusing and the plots made next to no sense... That means I don't buy them since I couldn't give a stuff about the focus on multiplayer. The best COD game for me personally is the first one; it had set pieces obviously, but you didn't feel like you were just running from one to the next _________________Plain English advice on everything money, purchase and service related:

   | This is the main reason I will be renting MW2 instead of buying when I have time to play it, the multiplayer doesn't appeal to me and the single player is very short_________________TwitterCharlie Brooker: Macs are glorified Fisher-Price activity centres for adults; computers for scaredy cats too nervous to learn how proper computers work; computers for people who earnestly believe in feng shui.

   | So does anyone think they will be willing to pay £55 for this game? Assuming the big retailers even sell it for that much, of course. _________________

   | I'm more interested in the COD world war 2 bundle that is coming out this summer, COD2 & 3 and World at War in one box _________________TwitterCharlie Brooker: Macs are glorified Fisher-Price activity centres for adults; computers for scaredy cats too nervous to learn how proper computers work; computers for people who earnestly believe in feng shui.

   | Damn, I've still got CoD MW2 still in its wrapper. To busy with Dragon Age Origins.... _________________

   | I keep reaching bits in Darksiders that are incredibly obvious only once you've looked a guide up online - I even forgot about the lock-on feature and couldn't kill a particular boss... The game has lasted me ages _________________Plain English advice on everything money, purchase and service related:
