Greetings.

I passed my Advanced Muppetry exam last night. I managed to trip over my own feet and sprain my right wrist. Being right-handed, and waking to find I can't grip things properly will make today a bit of a struggle.

So I think I shall vegetate in front of the telly, and organise a sling for my arm.

Morning all.
So, Zen/BT migrated me to the 21CN at the telephone exchange yesterday.
I haven't upgraded to an up to 20Mb service but the migration appears to have reset my BRAS profile so instead of the 6.4 Mb/s download I was getting on Tuesday I'm now on a maximum of just over 1Mb/s. Fantastic.
So, now I have to wait for the line training hoopla to sort itself out all over again.

Isn't technology wonderful.

Oh well, never mind. Have a great day folks.

Morning World,

An exciting day of crunching numbers ahead of me. I have to spend my day sitting here plugging numbers into an online calculator thingy for working out carbon footprint of flights  I simply cannot wait to started!! On the upside I can get the last of my China visa applications in the post today and finish updating the spreadsheet of travel for the Design team.

Otherwise, it's breakfast, playing on the internet and delivering the post going on for me today :D

Hello.

My wrist is on the mend. I can actually type with both hands today, but I can't bend my hand right up or down yet. I hope I don't strain it again doing something stupid before it's properly mended.

I have stuff I need to do today that didn't get done yesterday, so that's sorted out my Thursday.

Have a good one!

Morning all,

Glad you're on the mend HK.

I think the exam went well yesterday... now a few days of intense Information Security revising before next Wednesday. Bright side? It's the last exam!

I might be on here later asking for some legal advice as our youngest has had two coats stolen from school in the last year, and they don't seem to think I can claim as they "have disclaimers in the halls". I've left my mobile number for the headmistress to call me but if I'm not happy with what she says...

Anyway, enough from me for now.

Have a great day everyone.

:)

Morning all

Stuck at work rather than at a conference – normally wouldn’t mind but would have got free lunch at the conference

Oh well at least I will catch up on some work

Yo

My wrist is much better today. Still not 100%, but at least I can function relatively normally now.

I didn't do the things yesterday I had put of the day before, so I shall endeavour to do them today. Basically, I emailed a client with a list of stuff I needed, but they haven't replied. I therefore feel no compunction to actually do their job at the moment, if they're not that bothered about it.

Anyway, I shall get the laundry going soon, and make the most of the fine day before the weather changes again.
