It's only 26*C at the moment, but I'm sweating like a pig. My sister has stolen my fan, so I'm looking at another one. Except I keep looking at this: clicky Basically it's the Dyson Air Multiplier fan. For £200. Deciding whether it's actually worth buying. Has anyone seen these in action or bought one? _________________ He fights for the users.

Yeah, saw one in Costco and it does pump out a reasonable amount of air...but I don't see the point of one over a normal fan. It looks fancy but you can get a much more powerful fan for much less.

I'm not gonna steal it back. I was gonna buy a better fan.
I think I'd best see one of these in action. I don't want just quiet but powerful too.

I have noticed during the Formula One that all the drivers use venturi aspirator based fans now. The idea is genius and if there are as quiet as people say then I'd also be tempted
