Afternoon. Day 1 of lying-on-my-back-boredom is nearly over. My sister visited which was nice, especially since she bought cream cakes *yum* I'm bored now and fed-up of having to lie here while the weather is so lovely. Lumbar puncture yesterday, made of 'not much fun', especially since the Doc accidentally nicked a nerve which has been giving me trouble with my left leg going dead and being tingly and crampy since last night. Also got a chipped windscreen on the way back from the hoppital, called my insurance company this morning who have established the chip is too big to repair, so it's a new windscreen for Horace on Tuesday and a £75 excess for me Not all bad news though, there's ice cream in the freezer and a movie for this evening, a CAMRA beer festival in Northampton next weekend, followed by a Eurovision party *Whoop* stuff to look forward to

Morning all, Back in Preston, and wishing I'd bought my camera with me, as I should get an early finish today, and spotted a couple of good pictures waiting to be taken. Oh well, there's always next time. OK, back to work! Have a great Sunday everyone.

Afternoon,
Totally non-busy day today. Red is off with his other woman, I'm expecting a visit from my parents later but otherwise I'm updating the music etc on my mp3 player, charging it up and enjoying the cool breeze coming through our windows.
Back to work tomorrow, complete waste of a weekend which annoys me, especially when the weather's been so lovely. I might get to do fishy water changes this evening as long as I'm feeling ok, so that's good, although it means I'll have a grumpy crab on my hands again.
Nothing else to report, nothing to see here, carry on.

Morning.
I'm paying the price of getting up early yesterday, trying to have an early night to compensate, then not sleeping well due to the weather being warm. Awake at 5, decided to get up and potter about for an hour, rather than try to snooze.
I don't think today is going to work.
Happy Monday!

Morning all, The best laid plans of mice and men... I'd arranged for the hire car I've been using over the weekend to be picked up from the house this morning, as it's half term, so Mrs. V. will be at home. Except it's not half term, is it...? Luckily I have my work laptop with me, (typing on it now) so I texted the boss last night and told him I'll be working from home this morning, or until the car is picked up, whichever comes first. Last time it wasn't picked up until about 18:00 so I'll keep my fingers crossed Have a great day everyone.
