+1. I'll see what sort of deals are being offered when the new iPhone comes out - I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to phones so I don't really care which provider I end up with (I think I've been with them all at one time or another) as long as I can make and receive calls, pick up voicemail etc... <shrug>

I will consider changing vendors when the new iPhone comes out. It looks like Tesco, with my current phone being used as an emergency PAYG.

Interesting how Vodafone are able to keep long term customers but are unable to attract new ones from other networks.

I was a long-term customer, but having experienced both bad customer service from Vodafone recently and getting a better signal from another provider (for a start T-mobile provide 3G in my area, Vodafone don't) I decided to switch - as a bonus my contract was not only £10pcm cheaper but I get more minutes and a larger data allowance too.

same

Main reason is that their PAYG has a DD option so I get charged for the calls I make with no contract and no need to worry about running out of credit.

You must be in a good area then, coz T-Mobile is generally shank down here for signal.

Now that's a good idea. My wife only user a five a month, but is always forgetting to top up before her credit runs out.

I've always been with O2. Never had an issue with the service and they have always been good when I have had to ring them for anything.
I could even change from my iPhone contract to a Simplicity tariff online without any problem.

Their broadband is excellent as well and have been looking at their home phone package to see if it is worth switching.

The situation is set to get even better when Orange and T-Mobile merge network coverage (if they haven't done so already).

I was just thinking that, though I've never had any problems with it anyway :)

Hmm, let me think.

Orange (many years ago, for about 4yrs)
Then 3 (1 yr, horrific persistent marketing and selling on of contact info)
Then Virgin (atrocious, gave up after 3 months and binned the phone in disgust)
Then O2 (3yrs to date, but may leave for better contract assuming signal)

I also consumed pie in every year mentioned, but for the sake of the poll did not select that option :D

I have never been a Orange customer but I never had problems with T-Mobile coverage.
