I just feel sorry for the little guy.

He should be taken away from his parents if they're not going to stop him.

Ardi will smoke only one brand and his habit costs his parents £3.78 a day in Musi Banyuasin, Indonesia.

Officials have offered to buy the family a car if he quits.

that would send the wrong signal to other families.

Now he weighs 4st and trundles round on a toy truck blowing smoke rings - too unfit to run with other kids.

Set up for life, then. I doubt he’ll reach 40 without a serious health incident or two. Disgraceful.

40!? He'd be lucky. The impact of smoking that much on anyone's lungs is terrible on developing lungs! I would be surprised if he hit 30.

The Indonesian government offered to give the family a car if Ardi quit, but they quickly took back that offer when they realized he would probably just suck on the exhaust pipe to get his fix.

Cruel, but funny.
