I have the chance of a 2month old iPhone 3GS 16GB for £299 on Orange. Will my Orange monthly sim that i have in my Nokia 5800 work in the iPhone?

Yes it will work - I know people who have done this themselves (although on different networks - but I doubt Orange are different).

Have you got data on your contract though? It could get expensive otherwise.

Remember that there is a new iPhone out in a months time so think about that as well.

Yes i know there probably a new phone in 3 weeks or so, but my contract has 12 months to run and a PAYG iphone would be around £500 at a guess

Yes but that could be a reason to ask for a lower price as they will definitely drop as soon as the 4G is announced.

I sold mine for about that but wish I had not sold it. Was considering another, but the new one is out soon, so, maybe not.

I'm not convinced that the new iPhone's hardware will be significantly faster, if faster at all, than the 3GS.

The brand spaking iPad uses Apple's A4 - and the A4 uses the same CPU as the 3GS. I would imagine that the expected iPhone 4 will also use the A4 - so the same CPU as the 3GS.

Well nearly all. We have not seen the Emergency Pizza button offender. Unless he is in disguise? ;)

You never experienced Marklar. He was adamant that the emergency pizza button was essential.
