Is it just me, or does anyone else watch this?

Only if there's not much else on. It's funny-ish, but I just can't bring myself to deliberately watch it.

I really like it but that is because I have a background in theoretical physics, even so many of the jokes are very high brow. It is the reference to Schrodingers cat as a solution as to whether to date shows the characters solutions to life in general. I like looking at the notice boards to see the Feynman diagrams. But then I was very bright before my accident.

I love it. I have a background in physics and spend most of my time with computer geeks. I am the target audience

It has a one mild chuckle per episode average, which puts it on par with Two and a Half Men, funnier than Willl and Grace, but not quite as funny as Frasier.

I generally find as far as American comedies go, Frasier is in a class of its own.

Sheldon's ridiculous rules are very funny as well, and the relationships with people around them are fun as well.

Very true. I think it's strangely . . . English somehow?

+1, and there was always English characters (or Yanks playing English characters) popping in, or references to the likes of Austin Powers etc lol.

I've followed it up to the point where Sheldon rematches Will Wheaton. Haven't had time to download the eps after that.

lol, I've never exactly followed it. I just watch it on TV when it's on after the pub. Although there is a plot progression, it's episodic enough to just watch now and then.
