How much storage do you have for your personal use at home?
<= is less or equal to...
I am considering 3TB in Raid 5 so I am wondering how over-the-top that would be compared to other people. Feel free to comment with details if you like.
On my file server I have 1.7 TB 1.0 TB for movies (mostly 1080p), TV and football matches (mostly 720p) 0.5 TB for other data (music in FLAC, mp3s, photos and other non-video files) 0.12 TB Linux OS drive 0.07 TB Vista OS
In my main rig I only have 80gb Intel SSD (it rocks!!!)

Only a 64GB SSD on my Gaming PC. 750GB on the downstairs PC. A 250GB just lying about along with a bunch of 40Gbs and 80Gbs... Oh and xn XP laptop with 30Gb and a, soon to be, linux laptop with a mooossssive 6Gb So in use less than 1Tb, altogether less than 1.5Tb.

Shouldn't there be something along the lines of 'I only store pies' in the poll?

189GB ("200") in the laptop.
299GB ("320") in the desktop.
Both 7200rpm as can't afford SSD yet. Speed is much more of an issue for me thatn capacity.

I'm not sure you can store pies in a hard drive. But you could well store a pie on your hard drive, but it might not be good for the case airtflow Storing pies aside, you could install an Nvidia GTX 480 and cook the pie in your pc instead

1TB across 3 HD's inside this G4, about 580GB in three externals. I still need more room, as I've brought some footage back from my mates house that we shot a few years back and I want to have a poke at it, and there is about 40 hrs worth of stuff. And I promised I'd do a wedding video for a mate in the next few weeks.

Who are you angry with, me or you? There's always a pie poll option, even it's got nothing to do with the question being asked...

Server: 20Gb OS drive; 500Gb data (Bastard SATA controller won't let any of my boxes boot with a terabyte in them) Desktop: 160Gb OS drive; 1Tb data drive Dell laptop: 60Gb 1.8" drive Brickpad laptop: 40Gb 1.8" drive HP netbook: 120Gb drive
Random drives lying around in/out of use: ~10* 20-40Gb IDE drives, 1Tb drive, 250Gb drive, 500Gb drive.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.
